BGA - Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services
The BGA, the Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services, is the leading organization for the wholesale, foreign trade and service sector in the Federal Republic of Germany. It was originally founded in 1916, and refounded after the Second World War (1949).
In collaboration with its members the BGA, in its capacity as the leading organization in its sector, exercises influence on legislation by working with the German Bundestag, government and relevant ministries. Another main task of the BGA is to inform members in a timely manner about new developments as well as about legal and regulatory changes.
The BGA is a service-oriented organization. It informs its members on all kinds of developments, especially in the field of foreign trade. It organizes regular trade promotion events as well as seminars, business delegations and training measures.
The BGA stands for the principle of the promotion of free, unhindered international trade.
