With a population of 82 million, Germany is Europe’s largest consumer goods market. It's central position at the heart of Europe and its first-class infrastructure make it the ideal location to enter other Western and Eastern European consumer goods markets.
German consumers are affluent, demanding and at the same time price concious. This means that they are just as open to discount retailers as they are to established brand names across the different industry segments.
